MARKETING

For the longest time marketing put a bad taste in my mouth. I thought lawyers were supposed to refrain from marketing and somehow the idea of putting your ideas and services out there was not in line with the profession. This is a paradox.

Our duty as lawyers is to be guardians and help the public through difficult times. Marketing is how you maximize this duty because the reality is, without marketing, you are limiting the amount of people you can help. Marketing for me is building trust through authenticity. My goal with marketing is to tell stories that people find useful.

I currently serve as the Head of Marketing at Russell Alexander Collaborative Lawyers where I approach marketing with a heavy reliance on data to inform our decisions.

This data-driven approach in conjunction with authenticity has lead us to grow at an annually compounding rate of 45% with our marketing ROI’s increasing by a 3X multiple.

I also provide ad hoc consulting to some of North America’s leading law firms eager to take advantage of their data and implement systems to spark growth.
